Early Career
I completed my BA of Visual Communication Design at the University of Newcastle. My career started as a marketing assistant. It was during this time that I gained valuable experience about marketing materials. After that, I worked as a youth assistant. In this role, I designed a diverse range of projects, from event posters and flyers to apparel and patch design.
In-house Designer
For over 8 years, I worked as an in-house Graphic Designer for one organisation. During this time, I developed an extensive knowledge of branding and the importance of consistency for brand identity and awareness. In this role, my scope of work extended from design for print to digital social media and online website design and development.
Freelance Work
Meanwhile, my freelance work has focused on logo design and brand development for business startups. This is where my passion lies! I enjoy listening to new business owners share their vision, and relish the opportunity to work with them through the design process. Ultimately, I find fulfillment in helping them to reach the desired outcome, successfully communicating their message to their target audience.
In a world where we are constantly bombarded visually, standing out from the crowd is not easy. However, with a professionally designed brand, it’s not only possible, it’s profitable. If you’re not sure it’s worth the investment, stick around and check out some of my blog articles.
